Question 1:

Faborme is a student in Adekyekrom which is so polluted by fishermen and drivers who wash their cars into the only stream in the town.

[a] Explain four likely causes of water pollution in Adekyekrom.

[b] In your view, what are the likely effects of water pollution in Adekyekrom? (Explain four)

[c] suggests any three ways in which the Adekyekrom people can prevent further pollution of water bodies.

Every location, physical feature, school and community can be drawn on a paper. This drawing is knwon as a map.

[a] Distinguish between a landmark, a map, a sketch and conventional signs.

[b] You have been given a map to read by your Social Studies teacher. You noticed the map does not have the needed features. Explain any four features you expected to see on the map you were issued.

[a] Explain the term national identity.

[b] Explain the benfits or importance of national identity to Ghana

Naming ceremonies and funerals are for families, while Independence Day and Farmers Day are national ceremonies for Ghana.

[a]  Explain any four ceremonies that help forter Ghana’s unity as country

[b]  Ientify any five features of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.

[c] In your own words, what makes Ghana’s constitution a written constitution?

 

Question 5:

The independence of Ghana must also go hand in hand with Ghana becoming self-reliant.

[a] What is the diffrence between self reliance and coorperation among nations?

[b] In table form, write out four reasons Ghana must achieve total self-reliance and four ways she can acheive it.

The Akans practice matrilineal inheritance, while the Ewes practice partrilineal inheritance, but there is also PNDC Law 111, which determines how the properties of a deceased person are shared if he or she dies without a will.

[a] Give the difference between matrilineal inheritance and partrilineal inheritance.

[b] In table form, state three advantages of matrilineal inheritance and partrilineal inheritance.

Kwame is confused about his self-identity and is seeking help from you. He has a problem socializing and is always shy and quiet. According to him, he has no friends either.

[a] In one paragraph, explain the difference between self-identity and socializing to Kwame.
