The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has updated the BECE result portal with the 2024 and 2025 exam years. This update is an indication that the council is preparing for the upload and release of the BECE results.
Often, the result year on the BECE and WASSCE portals ends with the year of the previous exam. An update like the introduction of the 2024 exam year option suggests the preparations of the council behind the scenes towards the release of the results.

When WAEC releases the results, parents and candidates will have to buy result checkers to help them access the results via eresults.waecgh.org. This is the official site for checking all BECE results currently in Ghana.
When the result checks are released, you can buy them by going to > Buy 2024 BECE Result Checker.
Let us take a look at how to check the 2024 BECE results.

- Go to results.waecgh.org.
- On the page, enter your index number.
- Confirm the index number by entering it again.
- Select the exam type. School candidates must choose BECE (school), while those who sat the private BECE must choose BECE (private).
- Enter the BECE result checker serial number (carefully check to ensure you enter the right thing).
- Enter the result checker PIN. Carefully check to ensure you enter the right thing.
- Click on the ReCapture to confirm you are not a robot.
- Click on Submit.
Wait patiently for the result page to load.
Congratulations! You have successfully checked your BECE results. Print the result out and make two more photocopies. Keep the results safe in an envelope and wait patiently for a few days for the release of the 2024 school placement to be released through the Computerized School Selection and Placement Systems (CSSPS). However, remember that you will need a new card called the School Placement Checker for checking your placement.
