The National Science and Maths Quiz for 2023 provided the data for the list.
We have identified these schools as Ghana’s best science schools. The NSMQ determined these schools’ respective positions based on reliable data. The list is topped by Presec Legon, who are the back-to-back defending champions of the NSMQ and the only school to have won the competition for a whopping eight times.
It is important to inform students and parents that the top five schools, for instance, are all category A schools. Students who wish to choose any of these schools must achieve a raw score of at least 400 to avoid competition from other candidates who also wish to choose these schools.
