The government, through the Ministry of Health, has announced the recruitment of nurses to fill vacancies in public health facilities nationwide.

A press release from July 26, 2024, made this information public.

The Ministry of Finance’s grant of financial clearance informed the Ministry of Health’s announcement, according to the release.

The financial clearance grants the MOH the authority to hire new nurses.

The health service will recruit 15,200 nurses and midwives in total.

The recruitment starts on Monday, August 5th, 2024, at noon and ends on August 23rd, 2024, at 6 pm.

The MOH has also warned would-be applicants to be weary of criminals, syndicates, and individuals who parade as middlemen for recruitment. It added that the recruitment process is transparent, and no potential applicant should make any form of payment to anyone who promises to help them secure recruitment.

Before the portal opens, would-be applicants must gather all relevant documents and personal data required for the application.

Remember the following:

Do not rely on middlemen’s services.

To be considered for recruitment, you must meet the basic requirements.
