Education-News Consult your reliable education news and education service hub to report to the Ghana police via its X handle in relation to a group of Kumasi Academy (Kumaca) boys who publicly abused a female student of the school during prep. They paraded the girl on campus through the night, chanting songs and name-calling.

According to the boys, numbering about 15, the girl they were assaulting had gone to see her boyfriend and engaged in some form of adult encounter.

Not happy with this, they decided to mock the girl who was seen in her hostel attire. She was pushed, huckled, and whipped with the branches of a neem tree by the boys.

As though the above irresponsible treatment of the helpless girl was not enough, one of the boys kicked her on the foot, causing the girl to lose her balance and fall flat on the ground.

The tagging of the police on x several times by Education-News Consult via its Ghana Education News accounts and the efforts of other well-meaning Ghanaians caught the attention of the Ghana police and led to an initial investigation to apprehend these students from the Kumasi Academy for questioning.

“We wish to assure the public that the perpetrators will be identified and arrested to face justice.” The police said. on its X account.

The actions of the male students could provide some information on the level of discipline and disregard for school rules in Kumaca among students.

One question that remains unanswered is: Where were the housemasters and mistresses of the school when these students were misbehaving and recording their bad deeds, which have painted the school as bad in the eyes of the public?

Students need to know that they cannot take the law into their own hands and dish out instant justice when someone offends them or breaks school rules and regulations.
