Ghana’s Computerised School Placement System (CSSPS) is set for a significant boost with the introduction of new school selection guidelines today by the Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu. These crucial guidelines, designed to streamline the 2025 BECE school selection and placement process, will assist headmasters, teachers, and parents in making informed choices for senior high school admissions.
The official announcement program, scheduled for live telecast on GTV from 10 am on May 27th, 2025, will also unveil revisions to the school selection manual, a vital resource for schools, parents, and candidates.
These new guidelines are poised to introduce strategic and smart changes to the school selection processes. This will necessitate updates to the data entry software used by schools and, importantly, modifications to the school placement portal itself, along with other sections of the entire selection procedure.
