KNUST International Students Advisory
KNUST international students who fail to follow the specified guide will not be able to secure accommodation at the GUSSS Hostel and will need to make their own accommodation arrangements.
In a related development, Ghanaian students seeking admission into KNUST as Level 100 students will have to wait until January 2025. The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has yet to release the WASSCE results due to the government’s failure to pay GHS118 million owed to the council. WAEC has disclosed that without the full payment, it cannot complete its post-WASSCE activities or release the results of candidates.
This delay also means that universities and other tertiary institutions cannot finalize their admissions processes or issue admission letters to applicants who are expected to enroll as Level 100 students in January 2025.
At the time of filing this report, WAEC offices were closed for the Christmas and New Year festivities and are scheduled to reopen on January 6th, 2025.
