Teachers and educational officers play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes within the Ghana Education Service (GES). To maintain order and accountability, GES Management has issued a reminder regarding the proper procedures for submitting official documents to the Headquarters.
In reference to the directive outlined in the letter GES/DD-G)/28/24/140 dated 31st May 2024, staff across all levels—District, Municipal, Metropolitan, and Regional—are urged to strictly adhere to the established protocol for submitting documents. Specifically, documents intended for other agencies, such as the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD), must first pass through the GES Headquarters.
Failure to comply with these procedures may result in significant delays or the non-processing of documents. Management has made it clear that GES will not accept responsibility for any eligible documents that are left unprocessed due to bypassing proper channels.
This directive underscores the importance of effective communication and adherence to administrative protocols. Teachers and staff are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these guidelines to avoid unnecessary setbacks. By working together and complying with these procedures, the education sector can continue to run efficiently and ensure the timely resolution of staff concerns.
