Release of 2024 provisional results for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for school and private candidates confirmed by WAEC.
The 2024 BECE results have been released according to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). The council, in a statement, indicates that it has released provisional results of candidates who sat for the BECE for both school and private candidates, 2024.
While WAEC has indicates it will despatch the results of school candidates through the GES, respective schools and Metropolitan/Municipal/District, the results have been uploaded onto the WAEC result portal.

Candidates, parents and the general public can access the results from eresults.waecgh.org
To successfully do that, candidates will need internet access, BECE 2024 result checker, as well as their Index numbers. School can also access their results online at the Council’s website at eresults.waecgh.org
Now that WAEC has released the 2024 BECE results, parents and graduates should look forward to the release of the 2024 school placements through the CSSPS portal.
BECE 2024 Results Out: EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES ISSSUES
Following the completion of investigations into several cases of irregularity detected during the conduct of the examination and marking of scripts, the 35th Meeting of the
(1) Cancellation of Subject Results of 377 schools candidates and 3 private candidates who entered the exam hall with foreign materials, namely, prepared notes, text books and printed materials, into the examination hall or colluding with other candidates;
(2) Cancellation of the Entire Results of 41 school candidates and 1 private candidates who engaged in cheating, such as candidates who were in possession of mobile phones in the examination hall;
(3) Withholding of Subject Results of 33 school candidates and 3 private candidates for various suspected offences;
(4) Withholding of the entire results of some 149 school for various suspected offences and irregularities.
BECE RESULT SCAM CAUTION
The Council is cautioning all stakeholders to be wary of fraudsters who ‘promise to upgrade results for a fee. Candidates are to note that WAEC results are secured and can be authenticated. The fact that the BECE 2024 Results are out means scammers and syndicates seeking to scam are also active. Candidates and parents are advised not to fall for such scams.
The Council expresses its sincerest gratitude to stakeholders, especially the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, the Security Agencies, Heads of School, Supervisors, Invigilators, Examiners and all who in various ways supported it in the successful conduct of the examination and release of results.
