2024 BECE RME NaCCA-WAEC styled special question

Solve the following: 2024 BECE RME NaCCA-WAEC styled special questions for candidates

 

Question 1:

Have you heard the statement ” All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy” before? Use the statement and the image below to answer the questions that follow.

[A] Explain the term that is associated with the above statement and image.
[B] Discuss four ways you can use your time profitably for the activities above or the term you have explained in [A] above.

[C] Your uncle thinks going out with the family to have fun is not important, as shown in the image, and he also believes that the term in [A] above is not relevant. Explain three reasons why you do not agree with your uncle.

[D] The three main religions in Ghana believe time is important. Discuss the three teachings of Islam on time.

 

Question 2:

Kofi and Ama were siblings living in a small Ghanaian village. Kofi often stole fruits from the market, while Ama lied to cover for him. Their actions displeased the elders and angered the gods. One day, a severe storm destroyed their home, which the villagers saw as divine punishment. Realizing their mistakes, Kofi and Ama confessed to their wrongdoings. The village elders decided to impose a punishment: Kofi and Ama had to work in the market and repay what they had taken. Through this experience, they learned that bad deeds attract undesirable reactions from both society and the divine, understanding the importance of honesty and integrity.

[a] Do you agree that Kofi and Ama engaged in bad deeds and deserved to be punished? Differentiate between the two terms clearly
[b] Identify the acts you will consider bad deeds per the passage above.

[c] What corrective acts were they asked to perform as a form of punishment?

[d]  You have been asked to explain any three forms of punishment to Kofi and Ama as they were working in the market.

Question 3

Kofi and Ama, two siblings in Accra, were known for their mischievous antics. One day, they accidentally broke their mother’s favourite vase. The guilt weighed heavily on them, and they felt deeply sorry for their actions. Reflecting on their behaviour, they decided to confess to their mother. With teary eyes, they expressed their regret and promised never to repeat such mistakes. Their mother, touched by their honesty and determination to change, forgave them. From that day forward, Kofi and Ama became more mindful of their actions, always striving to be better and learn from their past misdeeds.

[A] According to the story above, they decided to confess to their mother. Explain the term repentance.

[B] Do you think the children repented? Explain your answer.

[B] Kofi and Ama are standing in front of you with their hands behind them after they repented. They have asked you to explain the stages of repentance to them.

[D] Ama wants to know the importance of repentance. Explain three (3) importance of repentance to her.
