GES 2024-2025 Academic Calendar for Public Schools

The new academic year has started, and we share with teachers and schools the Ghana Education Service (GES) academic calendar for 2024/25. The Ghana Education Service 2024 academic calendar shared her covers the three terms in the year for basic schools.

The Ghana Education Service is expected to release the 2024–2025 Academic Calendar for public basic schools before the close of school on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

While public basic schools are vacating on Thursday, July 25, 2024, the GES, as usual, is yet to be proactive in determining the respective reopening and vacation dates for terms 1, 2, and 3 of the new school year, which starts in September. Let us take a look at the 2024  academic calendar for public schools which is based on the one released for private schools.
