When the MoE is ready to release the placement, the website https://cssps.gov.gh/ will go live and become accessible to everyone.
According to the MoE, the 2024 placement for SHS and TVET will be free. This implies that candidates will simply need to add 24 to their index number to verify their placement.

- The performance of other candidates who chose the same school and programme.
- Public school candidates will have a higher chance of being placed in Category A schools than those from private schools.
What should I do if I don’t like my new school?
Often, you have little control over your automatic placement in a school of your choice. But you can call the GES and MoE call centers for school placement assistance if you have genuine concerns.
Those without placement can utilize the self-placement method to select a school. They can make changes as often as they want until they visit the school to start the enrollment process.
When are SHS1 students reopening school for the 2024-2025 academic year?
We expect SHS 1 or 2024 BECE graduates to start school on 30 October 2024. This is the day they will start visiting their schools to start the enrolment process.
Can I change my program and school after I enroll?
No, you cannot make any changes until one year has passed.
Can I change my accommodation from day to board after placement?
No, you cannot change your accommodation type from day to board and vice versa.
