The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has updated the 2024 BECE results with the passport pictures of candidates submitted to the council during the BECE registration.
Earlier on, candidates who checked and printed their results did not have their passport pictures showing. Now, a check of the BECE result will come with your passport picture, which makes it look more official now.
Parents and candidates who want to have their passport pictures on their 2024 BECE results can revisit the result portal to check and print a new result.
Candidates whose result checker has not been used to check the result more than three times can use the same checker. Those who have used the check three times already will have to buy a new result checker to be able to check the result again.
When WAEC updates the BECE results with the Creative Arts and Technology results, all candidates will also have to recheck their results to see their grade for the CAD as well as re-calculate their 2024 BECE results if the CAD has any effect on their results.
WAEC has indicated that it will release the CAD results tomorrow, October 24, 2024, and that students who check their results tomorrow will see the updated results.

In a related development, BECE 2024 graduates are expected to repent school on 30th October; however, their reopening date is expected to be indicated on their schoolplacement records when it is released by the Ministry of Education in the coming days.
