The Education-News Consult is excited to announce the start of registration for potential BECE candidates who will be taking the BECE or SHS entrance examination in July 2025.
It will interest you to know that every year, our mocks have been based on our internally projected topics, which have proven to be game changers.
Our 2024 BECE Home Mock was the third of these mocks since we started providing this special service in 2022. We have helped students achieve great results in 2022 and 2023, and we are confident that the 2024 results will be even better.
The 2024 BECE mocks were very special and helpful, and they became the most preferred and wanted mocks by schools and parents. Our mocks were the only mocks in Ghana that used the case study and application questions to access learners from January 2024.

What is the BECE Home Mock organized by Education-News Consult?
The BECE Home Mock is a special preparation mock administered by Education-News Consult to candidates who are preparing for the WAEC-administered BECE each year.
The mock is administered to BECE or SHS entrance examination students in their various homes.
Candidates write the exam under strict exam rules and are invigilated by their parents; however, the answers they generate are sent to the Education News Consult for marking and grading.
Students are to answer the questions in the manner prescribed, and the scripts are then scanned and sent to the examination officer for onward transfer to the examiners for each subject for marking purposes.

The results of each candidate are uploaded on our result portal, “Examhall.org,” where parents use their phone number as the candidate’s index number to access the results.
Once the results are released, the chief examiner’s report, which details the performance of all candidates and their weaknesses, is released to parents.
The marked scripts are also released to parents. This particular service has helped students and parents since it helps them see where their grades fall short.
The suggested solutions for each mock are also released to parents to help their wards revise well.

How to register your ward for the 2025 BECE Home Mock Examination.
Register Your Ward For 2025 BECE Home Mocks. Our registration is very simple.
- You pay our one-time registration fee of GHS80.00 using our >>>> Virtual Terminal Payment Link.
- Enter the amount of GHS80.00 and proceed to complete the registration.
- Once you use the link to make the payment, we will receive a copy of your receipt on our WhatsApp line, 0550360658.
- We will share the receipt with you to confirm your registration.
- You receive a Google form to fill in your ward’s details for the pre-mock conference.
- Once the examination is drawing near for each month, you will pay the mock fee. Mock fees are paid each month you want your ward to take part.
No school or teacher with the intention of using these mocks for their schools’ candidates can register. We have a school service which will be made public soon.
The packages are as follows:
- Core subjects only (Maths, Science, English, and Social Studies): GHS 100/month.
- Core subjects only (Maths, Science, English, Social Studies, Computing, and RME): GHS 150/month
- Core subjects only (Maths, Science, English, Social Studies, Computing, RME, CAT, CAD): GHS 180/month
The 2025 mock year will have no less than 6 mocks. The mocks will be written every month.
Mocks one and two are very important, as they will test the foundation of your wards with questions from basic 7 and 8 only. The results of the mock will tell you the weaknesses of your candidates and help you devise plans to deal with these.
The mocks will cover 8 subjects from the onset. French and Ghanaian languages will be added as the mock progresses.

- Free engagement with parents and would-be candidates (registered and unregistered participants)—Sunday, 22nd September 2024 @ 6 PM (Google Meet).
- Special pre-examination conference with only parents and candidates registered for the mocks for 2025. — Sunday, September 29th, 2024 @ 7 PM (Google Meet)
- Release of the 2025 Home Mock timetable for registered parents and candidates
- Mocks always start on a Friday at 7 PM. Saturday papers are spread throughout the day. Sunday papers are written from 2 pm, while the remaining papers are written at 7 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. This ensures that the mocks do not conflict with schoolwork as much as possible.
- The 2025 BECE Home Mocks start in November 2024 and will continue until June 2024. We have projected the 2025 BECE Exam Date and Exam Timetable already, and parents and candidates can check that out as well.
